This policy describes the current NeuralQ service. It is not a substitute for jurisdiction-specific legal advice; where local law gives you stronger rights, those rights prevail.

Who we are

NeuralQ Systems Private Limited ("NeuralQ", "we", "us") provides an AI-powered communication coaching platform. We are incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN U62010UW2026PTC249266), with our registered office at H.No: 59 Mohalla, Bohran, Awagarh, Etah, Uttar Pradesh 207301. You can record or upload practice sessions, which we transcribe and use to generate AI-assisted feedback.

What we collect

Account data: email address, display name, organization name, and a hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
Session content: audio/video recordings you upload, their transcripts, and the AI-generated analysis and feedback derived from them.
Billing data: your subscription plan and status. Payment card details are handled directly by our payment processor (Razorpay) — we never see or store your card number.
Usage data: counts of sessions, AI requests, and similar activity, used to enforce plan limits and understand product usage.
Communication preferences: whether you've opted in to email/push notifications.
Connected third-party accounts: if you connect an integration (e.g. Google, Microsoft, Salesforce), we store an access token scoped to what that integration needs — never your password for that service.
API keys: if you create one for programmatic access, we store a hash of it, never the raw key after it's first shown to you.

How we use it

To provide the core product: transcription and AI feedback on your recordings.
To operate your account, organization, and billing.
To send transactional email (welcome, password reset, billing) and, if you've opted in, product notifications.
To enforce plan limits and prevent abuse.

AI processing

Recordings are transcribed and analyzed using configured AI providers. The hosted deployment may use Groq for transcription and language-model processing, and Azure AI Speech for live voice features when that option is enabled. These providers process data only to return the requested result and under their applicable terms. Local/mock providers may be used in development.

Data retention & deletion

We retain account and practice content while your account or organization needs it to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated recordings, transcripts, analyses, and feedback by emailing privacy@neuralq.in. We will verify the request, delete the active records and stored media within a reasonable period, and may retain limited records where required for security, fraud prevention, billing, or law. Encrypted backups may persist until their normal expiry cycle.

Third parties we share data with

Our payment processor (Razorpay), for billing only.
Our infrastructure providers (hosting, database, object storage), as processors acting on our instructions, not for their own purposes.
Any integration you explicitly connect (e.g. Google, Salesforce) — only the data that integration's scope requires.

We do not sell your personal data.

Browser extension

The NeuralQ Chrome extension is a sign-in and account surface. It handles exactly two kinds of data, and it is worth being specific about both because a browser extension can technically do far more than this one does.

Your email address, which you type to sign in, and the display name and organization memberships the API returns so the popup can show which account you are in.
A session token, stored locally in the browser viachrome.storage.local so you are not asked to sign in again every time the popup closes. Signing out deletes it. This storage is scoped to the extension, so other websites and other extensions cannot read it — but unlike the website, where the token lives in a cookie that page scripts cannot read at all, it is readable by the extension's own code. An extension has no server side of its own, so this is the standard trade-off rather than an oversight.

What it does not do: it does not record, listen to, or transcribe audio; it does not read, modify, or inject anything into the pages you visit; it does not join or observe meetings; and it does not track your browsing. It requests only the storage permission and access to the NeuralQ API — no other website is contacted. It contains no analytics or advertising code, and loads no remote scripts.

Practice sessions, recordings, and feedback happen in the NeuralQ web app, and everything elsewhere in this policy applies to them. Should a future version of the extension capture audio, that requires a new permission you would be asked to approve, and this section will say so before it ships.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Email privacy@neuralq.in with the subject “Data rights request”; we may ask for information needed to verify your identity.
